
As part of the commemorations of the 80th anniversary of the end of the Second World War in 2025, a group of local volunteers researched the lives of the 42 men whose names are on the memorials in the two Anglican parish churches in South Oxford: St Matthew's (covering the areas of Grandpont and Cold Harbour) and St John the Evangelist (covering New Hinksey).
